Cartonplast began in 1999 with a sales office in Dubai, u. A. E selling corrugated plastic to the gulf market. The isfahan manufacturing plant opened in december 2000. Early market included the use of cartonplast as the sign substrate in promoting the name of pepsi. Cartonplast was used extensively as the sign substrate for the 2001 castrol advertising. Sales increased steadily and the isfahan manufacturing plant increased its size and capacity in 2002 to include two 48 inch-wide extrusion lines. In 2002, an 180 inch-wide extrusion line was added. Today, cartonplast is the leading manufacturer of corrugated plastic sheet for the sign and returnable packaging markets in middle east.
